First things first: thank you.

Out of everything you could be doing with your time right now, you chose to stop by here. Maybe a friend sent you. Maybe you found one of my videos. Maybe you just wandered in. However you got here, I’m truly glad you did, and I don’t take it lightly.

Who I am

I’m Marsallis Faircloth, but most people call me Sal. I live in New York’s Hudson Valley.

I wear a few hats. I’m a software engineer, working with NetSuite, integrations and website builds. I’m a licensed life insurance professional and a Financial Professional with Global Financial Impact (GFI). I create UGC (user-generated content) for brands. And I write short, beginner-friendly books that I sell on Payhip.

Along the way, I’ve been blessed to work with dozens of happy clients across my jobs, my website and integration builds, and my content creation. Each one taught me something, and I’m grateful for every one of them.

Why I started Sal Talks Life

For a long time I kept noticing the same thing. Money, investing, business and tech can sound like they’re spoken in another language. A lot of good, hardworking people never get a straight answer, so they feel behind, or they decide it just isn’t for them.

I don’t believe that. I believe anyone can learn this stuff when someone takes the time to explain it simply, without making them feel small for asking.

That’s why I started Sal Talks Life on YouTube and TikTok, and now here on the blog. I teach life, investing, business and tech in a way that makes sense for beginners. No big words to sound smart. Just plain English and real steps you can actually take.

The heart behind all of this

I want to be honest about why I do this. My faith matters to me. I believe every skill I have and every door that has opened for me is a gift. So the way I want to use those gifts is simple: to help as many people as I can, as best as I can, through the grace of God.

I don’t have every answer, and I won’t pretend to. What I can promise is that I’ll tell you the truth as I understand it, share what I’ve learned, and point you somewhere better when a question is outside what I know.
