Who runs this site

Sal Talks Life is run by Marsallis Faircloth in the Hudson Valley, NY. When this page says "I" or "me," that's who it means. Questions about your information? Email hello@saltalkslife.com.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, your email address (and your name, if you give it) is stored with MailerLite, the email service I use. Signups are double opt-in, so you'll get a confirmation email first and nothing else until you confirm. Subscribers get free printables and occasional emails.

  • You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every email.
  • I never sell your email address.

Build Your Bag Facebook group

When you ask to join the Build Your Bag Facebook group, a membership question may ask for your email. If you share it, it's added to the same newsletter on the same terms: double opt-in, unsubscribe anytime, never sold. Facebook's own privacy policy covers everything else that happens on Facebook.

Contact and financial-chat forms

When you use the contact form or the financial-chat form, the information you send (like your name, email, phone number and message) is used only to reply to you.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages get read and roughly where traffic comes from. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab).

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links, through programs like Impact, Amazon Associates and others. If you buy something through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click those links, the partner sites may set their own cookies to track the referral. Their privacy policies apply once you're on their sites.

Hosting

This site is served through a third-party hosting and content delivery network (CDN) provider. Like most web hosts, it may process basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has shared information here, email me and I'll delete it.

Deleting your information

To ask me to delete the information I have about you, email hello@saltalkslife.com. To stop newsletter emails, you can also just click unsubscribe in any email.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
